Indoor Localization and Building Occupancy Count Estimation using LTE-A UDNs
This is a presentation of our paper at SimAud 2020, entitled “Indoor Localization and Building Occupancy Count Estimation using LTE-A UDNs.” Presenters: Ala’a Al-Habashna, Vinu S. Rajus, Nicolas Arellano Risopatron
Digital Triplet and Digital Twin for Carleton University
The videos show the experimentation and visualization of the integration of a web-based GIS model with the execution of a cyber-physical model of transportation on campus. This is a first conceptual implementation of a “Digital Triplet”: a physical model for experimentation purposes (the transportation system) combined with a Digital Twin (in this case, Carleton University campus).
Classroom CO2 Model
Carbon dioxide level (averaged) in a ventilated computer lab/shared office with 39 occupants arriving and leaving at different rates over a two-hours period.
Placing CO2 Sensors for Occupants Detection
Cell-DEVS modeling of the relationship between CO2 levels and the characteristics of the occupied space. The goal is to determine the best placement of CO2 sensors for the most accurate occupancy detection.
Demo: a Tool for Simulating CO2 Diffusion in Cell-DEVS
Starting from an image of a floor plan, you can upload an image, convert it to a Cell-DEVS model, customize parameters (e.g. number of occupants), and simulate the dispersion of CO2 inside this closed space.
Pandemic Models – COVID-19
Cellular model (Cell-DEVS) of COVID-19 spread for various contexts like campus, shopping center, and neighborhoods with different spread and infection rates.
